Outline/ Big Idea	Content The Church Is A Fellowship Of Priests
Scripture	1Peter 2:9 But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were NOT A PEOPLE, but now you are THE PEOPLE OF GOD; you had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, but now you have RECEIVED MERCY.
I.  All Believers are Priests	If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior then God has made you a full time missionary to your family, friends, work associates, community, and church.  Every Christian is in full time service to our Lord.  (Exodus 19:6)
II.  What is a Priest?	I.  To be those that cared for the ark of the covenant which today would be to be those who care for and defend the gospel of Messiah Jesus (Deut.  10:8,9) II.  To be those who prayed for those who were not priests.  To present before God the needs of others.  (Lev 9:22-24; Numbers 6:22-27) III.  They looked over the practical and physical needs of corporate worship (Numbers 1:50-53).  Participation in worship was an essential part of their role.  IV.  They were to teach others God’s Word and study it themselves. ((Deuteronomy 24:8; 33:10; II Chronicles 35:3; Nehemiah 8:7) V.  They were to care for the poor and the sick as those who administered the tithe of God. (Lev 14:3; Duet 26:12) VI.  They were to be Holy because God is Holy (Lev 22:2) VII.  To give praise to God in public worship (2 Chron. 7:6)
III.  How Should We Then Live?	Ask the Holy Spirit to make you aware you are a priests before God and seek HIS wisdom about how to live more consistently as a priest before God and in the eyes of those around you.
