Meditation on Galatians 6:11-18

Meditation on Galatians 6:11-18

Lord Jesus, help me to put myself into the relationships you have designed to be in my life. Help me to commit myself to them and love those you have given me to love with your love. Enable me to love.

Lord Jesus save your people from legalism and make us loyal to the gospel of grace. Help us not turn the gospel just into another man-made society of the self-righteous. Let us not attempt to avoid persecution by denying the uniqueness or exclusiveness of the revelation of your love.

Help us to find our identity as your people in the sacrifice you made fro our sins on the cross. Allow us to center our faith on the revelation of your justice and compassion in YOUR suffering for our moral failures. It is here, that the unbelieving cultures and the man-made religions are cut off and YOUR people are cut off from them. Our righteousness and forgiveness flow only from your paying for our transgressions of LOVE.

Being Jewish or not being Jewish does not matter. All that matters is that we are renewed, regenerated, and revived into the new creation made by the Messiah Jesus in which righteousness dwells. Now, Messiah Jesus, teach us to live in a manner worthy of this good news of your compassion. Let us live out our lives in the light of your death, burial, and resurrection. Living LORD, teach us to develop lifestyles based on faith in YOUR gospel.

LORD, pour your peace, stability, compassion, mercy, and grace upon all your people in all nations. Revive, renew and restore your Church. Come, Holy Spirit in power upon us. Amen
