Someone asked me today what it means that humans are made in God's image.
Here are some of my musings.
These are not meant to be theologically complete.
To have the ability better than any other creature to reflect the character of the Creator and Redeemer into the Universe.
To be the accurate mirror of God for all creation.
No idol or image of God is allowed because God has made an image of the Divine, which is humanity.
To have the ability to choose good even as the Creator has eternally chosen the good.
To be a being that relates to God, themselves, others, and the world in such a way that God's will is done on earth as in heaven.
